Hi, I’m Jim Panzer and I’m a photographer living in the Southwestern United States with my wife, our beautiful daughter and a bunch of dogs.  I’m one of those guys who takes pictures compulsively, if I’m not carrying my main camera I’ve got a point and shoot, and if not that I’ll surely have my iPhone with me.  I see images everywhere, not all are works of art but all make me feel something, and that’s what I think makes a great image, one that stirs an emotion in the viewer, it’s the magic of a still frame.

Before I decided to turn this particular passion into a career, I had spent over ten years in the computer graphic and animation world.  I was fortunate enough to get to work with companies like PIXAR, Lucas Arts, Sony, Microsoft, and a few others.  Working with such artistically and imaginative companies helped me strengthen my own artistic sense, which I now apply to my own imagery.
